What Happens When You Get a Tattoo?
When you get a tattoo, the needle(s) deposits ink particles in the bridge between the epidermis and dermis layers of your skin. Immediately, your immune system recognizes the ink particles as a foreign substance and tries to dispose of them.
Although your immune system is continuously eating away at tiny particles of the tattoo ink (that’s why tattoos fade over time), most of the ink particles are too large for your system’s white blood cells to collect.
Our Laser Tattoo Removal Technology
We use state-of-the-art tattoo removal laser technology to perform the treatments. The Astanza Trinity tattoo removal laser system has two lasers with the three wavelengths—532nm, 694nm and 1064nm—needed to remove the full spectrum of ink colors safely and effectively.
During a treatment, the tattoo removal laser emits ultra-quick pulses of light energy onto the tattoo, breaking up large ink particles. The ink particles in the tattoo absorb the light energy, heat up and are shattered into tiny fragmented pieces. If the ink is examined under a microscope, the ink globules look like the size of a bowling ball and the macrophages are the size of a BB so they cannot engulf the ink. Once the ink is broken into tiny particles, a type of white blood cell called macrophages, engulfs the ink particles and carries them out through the lymphatic system.
We then use an innovative new technology called Radial Pulse Therapy to speed up the body’s natural immune response. The Z-Wave device sends powerful shock waves into the skin, increasing blood circulation and lymphatic drainage, pushing out ink and inflammation.
Traditional laser tattoo removal can be a long and painful process, taking up to a year to see results. With this innovative technology, we can remove the scars of the past in fewer treatments and treatments can be scheduled closer together rather than the normal 6-8 weeks wait time.
What they say
Restoring Confidence
After going through the treatment process, I saw the scars of a past life disappear. When I was living my old life, I didn’t think of the impact my choices would have on those around me. My family, who never gave up on me, even after two prison bids, are happy to see me getting my face back. I now work for a floor contractor, and run a handyman business on the side. I can be amongst the type of clientele I want to be working for now, without raising alarm or suspicion. Tattoo removal ink helped me assimilate with the people I needed to be around to change my way of living, stay sober, and find gainful employment. Jo gave me my life back.”
